Preah Vihear Temple enchants visitors with its stunning architectural features and breathtaking views. The temple complex is divided into a series of courtyards, ascending gradually up the mountainside.
At the base of the temple, visitors will encounter the Gopura, a grand entrance pavilion adorned with intricate carvings and mythical creatures. As you ascend further, you’ll come across several pavilions, galleries, and libraries that house ancient inscriptions and sculptures depicting Hindu mythology.
The central sanctuary, known as the Prasat Preah Vihear, is the crowning jewel of the temple complex. This imposing structure showcases remarkable stone carvings and provides a vantage point for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
